Currently
supported platforms on which CIMPL 1.0 runs
Operating system support: At this time
only Microsoft Windows (32-bit) is supported. Linux will be supported
in near future. 64-bit platforms will also be supported.
Compiler Support:
Visual Studio 2003 is supported. Alternatively,
Microsoft's
optimizing compiler can be freely downloaded as a commandline
tool . This is the same compiler that is used by VS.Net 2003 professional.
Intel (8.1) compiler is supported.
Static libraries—*.lib files—are provided for both
compilers. Older compilers are not supported at this time. GCC will be tested
as soon as possible.
